的 University offers a bachelor of science (BS) in unmanned systems.

  • Coursework includes an unmanned systems core, 航空核心, 和 the University's 基金会al Studies Program, which provides the knowledge students need in critical thinking, 领导, 和 interpersonal 和 沟通 skills.
  • 学生 are encouraged to purse a minor field of study, especially in areas where unmanned systems will play an important role. Suggested minors include: aviation technology, criminology 和 criminal justice, geographic information science, computer engineering technology, 计算机科学, 沟通, 和 business administration. 学生 also may choose to obtain a double major.
  • Flight training is not required. 然而, students planning to pursue a career as a professional unmanned aerial systems operator/pilot are encouraged to obtain at least a private pilot certificate.

Relatively small class sizes enable students to work one-on-one with highly talented 和 dedicated 教师 members who are professional leaders in the aviation industry. Multi-million dollar facilities include fully-simulated laboratories for flight practice, computer lab for aviation technology students, 和 well-equipped classrooms.
  • A number of activities 和 organizations are available that enable students to interact with other students 和 professionals, 包括, the American Association of Airport Executives, 和 Women in Aviation 国际. Other opportunities include the University's 荣誉项目 和 study abroad opportunities—which range from summer 程序s to a single semester or a full academic year in over 56 countries.

Special Note: Consideration will be given to allow 大学 credit to students who have already obtained flight certificates or aviation flight experience. Questions should be directed to the 部门 of Aviation 技术.
